How Escolha Miau handles visitor data, cookies and affiliate links.

This policy explains how Escolha Miau (“we”) handles information about visitors to the site. Escolha Miau is run from Brazil, so it follows Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018 — LGPD).

Data we collect#

• Browsing: the site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may log technical data such as IP address, browser and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.
• Visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit each page. It doesn’t use cookies or local storage, doesn’t build visitor profiles and only shows aggregated data (such as most-viewed pages, country and device type). We don’t store personal data with it. • Fonts: the heading font (Fraunces, SIL Open Font License) is hosted on our own site. No data is sent to Google Fonts.
• Contact: if you email us, we use your name and email address only to reply.

We don’t sell personal data.

Cookies and affiliate links#

When you click a link to Amazon, you leave our site. Amazon may use cookies to recognize that the visit came from an Associate and to calculate the commission. That processing is done by Amazon under its own privacy policy.

Your rights#

You can ask us to confirm whether we hold data about you, and to access, correct or delete it, through the address on our contact page.
